WHAT?

The Open de España will take place from 12 to 15 October 2023 at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, where the world’s best golfers will be competing.

WHO?

Madrid Trophy Promotion, the company that promotes tennis’ Mutua Madrid Open, will organise the Open de España for the next five years, from 2019 to 2023.

As with the tennis, the goal is to organise a world-class event with international repercussion, combining the sporting and social aspects of the tournament.

WHEN?

From Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 October 2023, with gates opening at 08:00 every day.

WHERE?

At the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, whose design and location in the capital make it one of the most prestigious golf facilities in Spain.

Its black course, designed by course architect Javier Arana, has hosted numerous European Tour events; the Open de España on nine occasions and a further nine Madrid Opens, as well as being the venue for a number of Spanish golf federation championships.

WHY?

Because accepting the challenge of transforming the Open de España de Golf is enthralling. Among the innovations this year are the importance of allowing fans to enjoy the tournament in the best possible conditions, with the construction of a completely renovated village and a spectacular VIP zone designed to set a new standard, as that of the Mutua Madrid Open has done.

HOW?

With the experience acquired over 18 years of organising the Mutua Madrid Open, which last May beat its attendance record with more than 278,000 people making the trip to the Caja Mágica, Madrid Trophy Promotion has taken the reins of the Open de España to stamp its seal on the world of golf.

HOW MUCH?

Tickets start at 10 euros (for members of the Spanish Golf Federation and under-16s) and 20 euros (for the general public). In addition, there are options to purchase a season ticket for the whole tournament or a weekend ticket.
